Check out what I just found on clearance:

http://www.erebunicorp.com/accesscustom/toycel94.htm

My money's goin to other things, but maybe someone else will take that?

(maybe 325 isn't great...but the best price I found besides that was 400...)

"I bet you drive a standard." "You could make some money off that bet." :D
nice deal. too bad it will cost me 4 times as much to ship here.

Ok, here's a dumb question, I heard that it's difficult to paint CF hoods because it's ripply. Is that true, because I'm a big fan of having my car match. biggrin.gif

i dont know who has that ripply carbon fiber hood..all the ones ive seen are smooth.because of the resin that goes over the carbon fiber..so i dont think its to hard to paint it

Myspace Me
I have a zyclone cf hood. I'm painting it red. Its not to difficult, all you have to do is lightly sand the hood down prime it, paint it, and clear it.

^Ya I have to. The clear coat starts to bubble and then the cf unweaves. Thats why i'm painting mine.

Im painting mine too eventually. It hasnt starting bubbling or unweaving yet, but when it does, it will immediately be painted.

whaaaat? ive had mine for almost 3 years....I dont see any signs of bubbling or anything like that hmmm I hope i never have that problem kindasad.gif
Ya i'm painting mine as i paint the car that way all of the paint is matching. Other wise if i painted the hood later it wouldn't match exact.
