I have a little dummy question wich is better wetsand with 2000grit or 2500grit? i'm going to shoot my car in two weeks and i need to get plenty of supplies
Buffin Fresh Paint - 6G Celicas Forums
I wetsanded with 2000 grit (no 1000 or 1500) and my paint came out like glass once I buffed it. I often hear people recommend to finish with 2000 as well, so I'd go with 2000...2500 will just be more work.
New Toyota project coming soon...

Thanks 4 all, one more thing, if anybody know's a nice tip to how to buff a fresh paint it will be welcome, since i'm a first timer on this so, i'm afraid to burn the paint.
i really gave up on doing my own and have my friend do it (runs a detailing business)
but what color are you painting?
it also depends on the type of paint your car will have on it....soft/hard ect...
