Slow windows in cold weather - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #42544 8 posts Started by Velliety
Hi guys!
It's finally started to get a little chilly here, and my power windows on the Celi have been really slow since it's gotten cold. Does anyone know why this is and what I might be able to do to fix them?
Thanks!
Samantha

mine were frozen the other night, as in, i couldn't lower them at all, they were stuck.

after it heats up, it's fine. you just gotta let the heater blast for a few minutes.

If your windows are frozen up, its probably a sign that its too cold to put them down biggrin.gif
You're right - it's really not THAT cold here. The longer I stay in the south, the colder it seems....

my guess is the grease on the gears harden up to a tar like consistancy, mine does the exact same thing
