OK so i took off all the bolts from teh 3sgte tranny, and it is pivoting all around but it wont slide off. Is there something at the end of the tranny holding it on? Right now there is like a 1/4" gap between the tranny and the block? Need some help, anything would be appreciated greatly.

nothing else should be holding it on. its just a bitch to take off. if you have the engine on a lift, hook up the chains so that the tranny points down as much as possible. then take a crow bar and work it loose from each side. it takes a while, but it will come off.

ohhh yeah. It took me a few pulls to get my alltrak tranny out. And it is heavy as sick.....
