Never seen this person, never talked to him, dont know who the heck he was... But he sent me an email saying

"Your car is S@#T... who on earth would you spill money into a Toyota?! Friggen dumbass move"



I didnt bother writting him back... Prolly just some guy who thinks he's all badass because he's insulting people over the internet... gotta love people like that... but yeah the only picture I can think I had up was the of my car was thats in my profile on here where i'm standing a long the side of it... Like you could really tell from the side what the car looks like...

When I was 16 when I bought my Focus brand new (everybody makes mistakes, please dont point out the obvious at this point ), I had some guy at a gas station next to me go "nice piece of sh!t you got there", and started to laugh out loud to himself... I looked over to see him driving a 91 at best cutlass supreme coupe all ruseted up... I so wanted to state the obvious in that he couldent even afford to buy the car that I did, but at the same time I knew if I did I would put myself on his level, and I was not about to do that.... Don't feel too bad, because i'd say 99% of the time people pull stuff like that because they have no other means to feel empowered in their life... sad, isn't it?

oh im not at all upset about it... I find it really funny actually! hence why I posted it ^_^

I let people think what they want and not let it stick to me... cuz really in this "situation" all that matters is that I like the car... if someone else doesnt well... then thats cool. Its just some people dont know the lil phrase "If you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say anything at all" Kinda like this guy hahah

I have never met any extra "celica haters" but a lot "Jap cars" or "Toyota cars" haters... One of them told me something like this once: "I hate Toyota cuz they made just sewing machines, not cars"

My uncle is quite the character.

About 5 months ago, I was struggling hard to find a car. I had just gotten a job, I had no car, the job was an hours drive away and Id require a 'reliable car' for this job. Apparently in the same week that i had bought my celica, my aunt and uncle were GIVEN, a 4 door Grand Am 4cyl (auto) with 60,000 KM's on it from my grandmother.

My uncle goes around bragging about his new car to everyone. He pulled up to someone at the car wash, cleaning out the inside of his early 90's BMW (with the 4 rounded halogens) and told him he had a peice of **** rusted BMW. He told me this and I had a face like :|

So on thanksgiving, we were at my grandmothers and he was bragging about it there too. He was saying how awesome it was all the races hes won and yadda yadda. At this point I was hearing about it constantly, and considering I NEEDED a car when they got it, and at the time they had 2 cars between them already, i wasnt too happy that they were given a car whilei had to go pull strings with the bank and put my mom in debt (cosign, psht) to get mine to get this job Ive been tryin to get for 2 years. (can you tell im bitter? lol)

So I pipe up. "Ok Mitch. Tell ya what. Your 2003 Grand am is so great, right?"
"Yeah, its pretty badass"
"I'l race you on teh way home. For pink slips. No joking around." (its a 2 lane highway out at the beach, not a soul around)
"Your kidding, right?"
"Nope. Pink slips"

He pussied out. He hasent talked about it since....atleast not when im around

I drive a Camry, so every Honda owner hates on me, haha. I just blow them away on the road, even though my car's stock. Gotta love the Torquey V6's.

No haters yet. Even my corvette and F-Body bretheren like our car. My 05 GTO buddy didn't think too highly of it until I stayed pretty dang close to him when he tried to lose me on the street, and he's packing 378 RWHP 384 RWTQ.

When I first bought the car I drove it around for most of my friends to see. One of my cousins wasn't home when I drove by, but I saw him a couple days later at a party. He was talking about his Civic mods, my friend was talking about his Tacoma plans...and I was like "Oh, hey, have you seen my new car?"

He said: "Yeah, the Supra, whatever."

My boyfriend says: "Actually, it's a Celica."

Him: "Same thing."

Me: "Well, not really, but you wanna come check it out? It's outside."

Him: "Nah, that's okay. Toyota isn't fast enough for me."

Later the Tacoma friend tells me that my cousin's just sour because he was actually looking for a 6th gen Celi to buy and wound up settling for the Civic when he couldn't find one on island.

ehh, the worst insults I ever got were "Nice MX6" and "sweet integra"

Bah, silly americans.....go to any other country, and see the extra ponies the celica puts out....i bet theyll be crappin there pants if they drove a GT4, lol.....

I remember one time at my old work, this lady asked me if my car was a Mustang, but then another girl before I could say "No, its a celica" Blurted out

"Thats not a ford its an eclipse!"

I was like... "Uhhhh... Nope! Its a Celica. Not a ford or Mitsubishi, but toyota!"

hahaha I felt more "embarassed" I guess you could say then insulted lol Theyre female... they can get away with not knowing what a car is...

But this one guy saw my car once, jumped up and was like "WHOA! Who's SICK supra is that!?!?"

He got all excited, and then I was like "I wish it was a supra... Its a celica..." Then his friend made fun of him... hahaha

my girlfriend's mom does that to me. She drives a newer Buick, but she completely trashed it. She is always saying that "americans should only buy american cars, not that jap crap". I just said "mine looks better, performs better, and gets me there cheaper than yours"

i always looked at haters of my celi like this....

I never really have anybody talk trash about my car, its usually people that are clueless about cars that make rediculous comments anyway. The last time anybody said anything negative about my car was in high school and it was a kid that drove a horribly crappy mustang and called my car slow and girly and this and that....funny thing is that he drove a convertable Mustang, which IMO is about as much of a bubble-gum-chewing, hair-twirling, Jersey-Girl of a car you can buy... Whats better yet, is that a few months later he blew the engine in his Mustang, just to top off the irony...lol.

As long as you enjoy your car, thats all that matters though. I don't see any reason to fault the cars we drive because they are simply a blast, but if somebody else doesn't feel the same then let them enjoy what they drive....even if it is a piece.

This isnt a hater comment but I was on the ferry the other night and some guy hopped out of a van and walked to the back of my car and i was like WTF and then his friend rolled down the window and said "were just betting on whether its a celica or supra" and im like "oh its a celica" the one guy who was right went crazy in his friends face saying HE KNEW IT CUZ THE HEADLIGHTS. then the other guy was like "but u have the supra wing" and im like "no i dont its a jdm wing" lol then they proceeded to ask for my number. So I dissed them and said "u can find me on myspace"
