questions about the offset guide - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #43086 5 posts Started by urbandork
the sticky advises 8.0"-----40mm offset but how much do i have to worry about if i get a 46mm offset. I know its only a lil bigger then half a cm. but with a 1.5 drop would i need to get the fenders rolled a bit?

btw im thinking about getting these over the weds sport sa90

weds sport SA90 with 17x8.0 42mm offset

MB weapons with 17X8" and a 46mm offset

the price diffrence is is about 100 bucks a rim which translates to 400 a rim. The weds are cool but i dont want to get jacked lol haha. Plus i think the MB's look more like the stock gt4 rims.

what do u guys think?

Nippon racing rims....kinda the same not as expensive. If you do go with either, I'd just be safe and go less than 40mm unless people here tell you otherwise

higher offset means your wheel will be more sink (not exserted)

No more replicas... This is evolution... This isSS-four:)________[Featured Celica of 6gc.net @ 2010]_________
