OK,

So I've recently moved overseas (England) and I've got an awesome idea! I'm thinking about selling/shipping parts (UK Spec) to buyers from the States. I'm going to find a Toyota dealer in town and get a list on how much parts are, as to see if it's worth it. I'd have to convert the price to $USD, as they would be in Pounds Sterling (GBP). The exchange rate is currently ~$1.89 = 1 GBP. Shipping would be easy and probably cheap as I would be sending it out of the base where i'm stationed. And i'm not looking for much of a profit, just trying to help my fellow 6gc'ers out! I've got a few days off in the beguinning of next week, i'll check for some prices and get back to you guys. I just need to know what everyone/anyone would be intereseted in. The only thing is, I don't really know many UK Spec parts that anyone would want. Hot tails are JDM, as are the heads, but I may be able to get the heads as they come on GT4's. Either way, if you've got a part # that you want me to check on for you, PM me, i'll hit you back with a price and shipping. Cheers!

For headlight washers, would there be a whole assembly you think? And just the actual button for the rear foglight? That's the one above the left vent correct? Any part #'s? If not, s'all good.

For the headlight washers, I don't know if it's an assembly. Worse comes to worse, if I have the nozzles I can always jerryrig something up.

No part numbers on the rear foglight button, but yes, the one above the left vent.

Prices from Mr T over here are pretty high, though there's a lot of breakers about too.

Where abouts are you moving to in the UK? Get yourself onto www.GT4ec.net and come to a meet. There will be loads of advice of where to get bits from alot cheaper than the dealers.

Harrogate is not far from me...my parents used to live there....if you want a meet, I can soon arrange one, there is also the famous Xmas meet arranged by Jerry (Mysh).

Both the OC & the EC are great sites and arrange regular meets...a good one for you if your in Harrogate is the monthly Sherburn Meet @ Squires Milk bar...not sure if its on over the winter or not.

I know of the Army Foundation, I work near it! I live in downtown Harrogate. A meet sounds awesome, I don't really have a car though, that's the only bad thing. I'm only TDY (temporary duty) so I'm stuck to public transportation. I am, however, borrowing my mom's car (yeah, she's working here too) so I may be able to get around for a bit before she sells it.

We usually have a big meet at Elvington Air Field for some track/drag strip action every year that I think youd like but itll be summer next year before the next one.

Car stuff seems so expensive in the UK(just got back from visiting some friends in Scotland), I was reading a magazine for cars/parts for sale and the numbers were about the same as here(in America) but they've this in front of them:£

Ex:Car A(UK) £7000
Car B(USA) $7000
£1=$1.7

But deals can be found in weird places

Parts are expensive in England, dont even get me started on fuel prices......

Ten of the best at elvington is usually the last weekend in July, so unfortunately you might miss it next year mate.

I was there this year, didn't see hardly any celicas in the car park though, have to make more effort to look next year.
