the other day i was coming out of bestbuy to get in my car. as i was walking to my car, this guy on his sportbike revs his engine and was looking at me. thought he was just being a dumbass so got in my car and left. not too far away, he pulls up next to me at a long red light, and he asks if my car is a real gt-four probably just to start conversation. i say no, and he tells me he used to own a 97 limited edition. nothing too exciting until then he asks me if i know the guy that owns a imported st205 in my town. i told him i knew of an awd swapped 6gc in colorado, but he said this one was a real st205. he said the car is garaged by the owner. damn, if this is true, i have to see it! it was just a weird meeting, so thought id share there might be another imported st205 in the states.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

the other day I drove behind a white celica.. didn't look modified.. pulled up next to him as he turned left, and I went right.. nodded.. he just ignored me and turned left

guess he didn't realize what he had..

theres liek 4 other celicas in my local town area....or county..lol

theres me, the white one
a light blue/ugly purple one
a black one
a red one
and a maroon one.......but none of them seem to notice me when i drive by or pull up next to em....its sad. i get all excited to say hey or give the person a nod' but they dont even acknowledge the fact that we both drive teh same car

I know there's a couple of ST205's running around the states. I remember seeing one for sale in FL just after we bought our 99.

Where do you live?

fort collins, colorado. he sounded like he knew what he was talking about, and i dont see any reason why he would lie. he also said the st205 owner was a friend of jeff (a local guy who owns a supra), and ive met jeff before so it made it more plausible. i wouldnt be too surprised really. ive seen an r33 here once before and i would have never believed that until i saw it. im sure there are lots of enthusiasts who never get on message boards.

actually there are a few in the states. Mike (Watanbe88) just sold his. hes from NH

I think there was someone on here from Indiana with a white one but it was never legalized.
