Which would you prefer on your Celica?

Definitely turbo. I have always believed 4-bangers up to 6cyl get turbos because they work so well together, big blocks get super chargers.

After driving a turbo car for a while, I would say that I would want a turbo over a blower on anything.
it depends, what kind of super charger? theres several kinds. the blower on the 4agze isnt too bad.

Its possible to have both. Look at the VW Golf GT. Has 1.4 liter 170 HP and max torque 320 lb/ft @ 1750 rpm

my friend had a newer eclipse 4 cylinder, super charge and totally built (ie low comp pistons ect) by rip mods. i wasn't impressed with the power it made for the money. my stock 3s was much faster. ill see if i can find the exact hp numbers he put down.

my friend owns the worlds fastest mercedes CLK55 Kleemann (which is S/C)
i drove it down the 1/4....that **** is freakin fast

but it really depends on the kind of driving you'd be doing for the setup and the overall goal

personnally if i had AWD.....i'd use a s/c @ ~8psi to get off the line which would phase out to a GT4X turbo

Has to be turbo. I had a supercharger fitted for 8 months. wasn't happy with output. changed to turbo
turbo... just for the cool blow-off valve sound. but I really wish I could afford either.
