Whenever i first get in my car after its been sitting a while and start it up and turn the wheel it makes this wierd clicking noise but as far as i know its not to often and it sometimes happens when im reversing out the driveway and i start to turn and hit the brakes to slow a little but its worse with the brakes does anyone know what this could be? and how much to fix it
Sorry if what I just said doesent make much sense
how many miles does your car have on it? sounds exactly like the problem i had on mine.
136,000
BTW i realise this is probably in the wrong forum
its ure cv joints if u dont get that fixed u could be driving down the road ure axel could go an ull fly straight into whatever is in ure path seriously id get that fixed
how much is that to replace?
i had a camry an for that it was 90 bucks for the piecec an i did it myself
a garage will probably charge ya 100 a axle
Hmm.. i'd look for the most simple solution first, visually inspect where you think the noise might be coming from. I knew some chick who kept bringing her c ar in to the shop because she heard a "ticking" noise, turns out it was just a pebble in the tire tread. lol
well i can get the labor for free since my stepdad is a mechanic for toyota i was just curious on the cost of the part but hell if its that cheap and i forget how much he gets off parts that will be cheap as hell to replace
