I currently have a 95 gt with a 3rd gen 3sgte in it. While its fast its also loud and droped, two things girls dont really like. So lately ive been thinking about getting a car thats more comfy to ride in. I still want it to be fast and was looking at the is300 cus ive always like the 01 body style. I know a 2jzgte can go in with little trouble but how fast will it be with stock turbo and regular bolt ons.

Or should i just find a girl who can tolorate my car even if they are near impossible to find. I dont know why tho, from all the complaints from my female friends, ladies should be use to of a rough and mainly fast finish right? jk jk.

same here i've been looking at is300 as well as gs300, but w/o the swap im sick of dealing smogs

Fairly fast. Stock 2jz's are 320whp at the crank and, as you probably know, they can are often heavily modded.

NO! you can't sell your car man. I know you can find a girl that can tolerate it. I did. She loves my car and loves the ride, In fact she owns an eclipse thats droped with rims and some goodies on it. You can't get rid of that celi man.

haha this is funny... because my car is dropped real low too and most girls dont like it too much... but instead i just turn the system up max and roll then nothing but music will be heard. *not complaints* hahaha

swapped IS' are sick. the guy who i usually dea with at the toyota dealership back in toronto has one with a 6spd swapped into his. Sooooo quick, mind u hes also runnin greddy intake manifold, custom made tubular turbo manifold, still runnin the oem turbos, but FMIC. I say if u dont wanna deal with the smog that u guys down in cali have to deal with. Buy an 5 spd or auto IS, then buy a wrecked Altezza and swap the blacktop 3sge into it. Cheaper, more unique, and better on gas.

Or, just try and get her to like ur loud low car..lol..my gf loves mine and wants her car to be lower and louder..lol

same thing happend with me the other night, i was out with a girl from school, and i was accelrating to highway speed (55mph but in NY that means 75 to 80mph) and shes like "wow your cars loud", i told her that it quites down when im not accelerating. (Injen SRI is pretty loud..sounds pretty sweet.)

I really wanted to say, "shut up and hold on..." but with a 3sgte, if they complain you could down shift and just drown them out with motor noise.

no no i just got a jdm 3rd gen 3sgte with a spec stage 3 clutch. On the way are poly mounts, cusco front strut bar, OEM JDM rear bar w/ leather covers and plastic tower covers, JDM folding mirrors, and the list goes on.

i love my car to much to give it up lol.

My girl loves my low loud Celica. She respects it so much she often challenges other tuners she knows to race me without telling me LOL
Look for a different type of girl - they are out there.

Get another car... save the Celica as a weekend car. Problem solved.
