Whats the differance between a side feed and top feed intake on a 3s

ummm the obvious that you stated in your question....

one has the FEED (aka throttlebody) on the SIDE

top i think u misunderstood is more likely center which is in the center...aka stock

besides physical appearance. side = more even air distribution to the cylinders.

also for our cars it really helps with intercooler piping, and it makes it so you dont have to run the intercooler piping over the hot engine

Side feed and top feed are generally the two terms used to describe injectors...

There's tons of information on the MR2 boards about both (manifolds and injectors) - it would be hard to write a summary of either here.

the stock one starts to become restrictive at what, like 350whp IIRC.
most any aftermarket manifold is ment to make more power, if they werent going to then they wouldnt produce them lol. they would just use the stocker.
