well i have a 9am appt with the guy to check out the Celica---from the pix he has sent me and the info he has provided the car seems to be a good deal

most major maintenance work done, alon with being a stock GT--he is the second owner of about 6 yrs now

just excited, hopefully he doesnt mind my lwoballing!

took some pix today...outside was kinda nasty but pix are somewhat ok

well i wont disclose how much i'm paying yet...havent got down to a final on price with the guy

saw the car today and overall its in good condition, hopefully sat/sun i'll be picking up the vehicle

it needs some passenger side painting but with the extras involved i believe its worth it...besides the paint wouldnt be more than $350-500 anyways

i'll post pix once i do get the vehicle

i picked up the GT yesterday...car drives real nice, had a 45 minute ride home with traffic and all that great stuff...i was loving the drive to, the traffic didnt really pay havoc on me

i gotta do a good detail this wknd and then i'll snap some pix

within the next month i'll probably throw on some springs (teins/intrax) and an intake. i'm more looking into suspension and maybe some outer body work but those are the goals for the next few months so far

I just picked up mines about a week ago. 99 GT, R. Red, 57,000 miles for a heck of a deal. Motor is still awesome and pulls. So no 3SGTE soon.

yeah...mine was a hell of a deal too if you ask me, got it for $4k, couldnt pass that deal at all--car is in very clean shape, only thing needed is some repainting on the pass door/bumper but thats about it

the maintenance on this car is up to mark too...every piece of maintenance done by dealer and on time too--new clutch/timing belt/etc. the list goes on and on. i havent put it on the road as yet though--maybe in a few weeks hopefully after i get it lowered and what not

yeah, how'd you like it...i am contemplating selling it rite now as i love driving the car but its getting older and i really wanted a new project.

i have the the top of the line primera over here (g20t) leatehr interior/5spd with some pretty good upgrades done too...i've fit the p11 bumper up front, cams/headers/intake/exhaust and some suspension stuff as well adj struts/springs/sway abrs/bushings/braces

car is a dream tod rive especially on road courses--it loves track conditions but hopefully something comes thru where i can keep it as my daily

I bought mine for 4900 but it included a recent paint job at the time and all I had to put money into was for modding. It even came with a recently installed 97 motor instead of a 94 which is the year of my car.
