IIRC, the only "poly" parts for our cars are the real OEM extensions, that have been discontinued.

That depends on what you're looking for. I couldn't find SS-III splitters in the US, but now i'm in the UK for 6 months and I found them at a Toyota dealership. I don't know if they're "poly" or whatever but I can see if you'd like?

if u fill the inside of your lip with expandable foam it will prevent cracking/shattering but you'll still get the nicks and scrapes...as u would in poly....just stop hitting stuff... DUR =P

is hard not to hit something with the lip he got, I use to have it at stock high and still had trouble driving on certain areas or even getting into my parking lot ( slope at entrance ) so I can imagine if the car is lowered.

try installing a poly bottom splitters for your lip....it worked fine on my buddies miata.....but if your ride heights "low"..dont make any difference..... wink.gif
Hey man i really recomend this. My bodyman if you followed my bodywork thread welded a bar from where you can jack the front up. And welded it lower to the car then the front bumper is. Everytime i accidently hit a dip to fast i hit that metal bar and not the bumper at all. If it's hard to understand i'll post a pic of what im talking about let me know.
yes please show me that! i was thinking along the same lines as to finding somebdy to fab some sort of lip protector. my car is stock height and there is NO WAY to avoid hitting stuff, with time s&@& happens. and in north carolina, they dont believe in making the driveways even with the road youre on. ive literally seen 45 degree angles on a driveway

but racr got good with that metal bar idea......
Here are a couple of pics. If you notice towards the center of my front end, there is a small black bar that sticks out from underneath my car. thats the bar that i'm talking about.

that looks awesome! i was thinking along the lines of something that can attatch to bottom lip, that looks like it works much better! i may have to find someone to fab something up for me before i invest in another lip

You should contact VIS... Just about anything they make in fiberglass you can get in what they call PolyFiber. It's almost as flexible as polyurethane but much more durable.

I have the same front lip and I'm running on stock suspension with 17's

Its not my driving at all, its just some terrain really sucks and theres nothing you can do about it. frown.gif

Thats the crappy thing about kits... No matter what I dont think you'll ever avoid scraping... You can advoid it most the time, but sometimes it will just rear its ugly face at you... Hell I scraped today for like the first time in 3 months... the parking lot was just too steep... god dammit mad.gif

I've had my kit for about a month now. And i've never scraped my bumper. I lifted her today to get an oil change and nothing on my bumper is scraped I have always hit my metal bar. So i know that it works really really good.
how much did it cost you? i may be able to ask a metal fab guy to do it...

I don't know how much it would cost. The guy did it along with my bodywork and kit and paint. So idk it doesn't look to hard to do.
