So i was in my accident in April and I did 3 weeks of physical therapy for my back and neck. I then got my job and it requires some lifting and now my back and neck are once again causing me pain and discomfort so i saw my doctor today and she suggested trying massage therapy. We havent settled with insurance yet but how much do you think i can get? what would be the least and most amounts?


I hear the least is probably around 800 and the most would be about 3,000

Nat, it all depends on what actual therapy you need/ed. If you have doctors/hospital bills, you will most likely get enough to pay them off and a bit more, but if not, you are unlikely to get much at all. Maybe you'll be lucky though >>

well im already over 800 dollars in medical bills!

3 weeks of physical therapy = 450
8 visits of message therapy (damn thats good stuff) = 560

Total = 1010

My sister was hit by a drunk driver 1.5 years ago. She's had 3 back surgeries, had discs fused, has $280,000 in doctor's bills. Just now got a settlement for 1.1 million. If she could go back and change it, would she? Hell yes. I was hit by a car when I was 11. Broke both my legs, have had 3 surgeries, and got a settlement for $140,000. If I could go back and change it, would I? Hell yes. Be thankful you're not seriously messed up Nat.

Very true! I am very happy that i was not seriously hurt but i may have to quit my job now because i cant do the labor!

but anyways glad to hear that your sis and you are alive

I dunno, that kind of money could buy a pretty nice car....they are just limbs and some pain and suffering, nothing big. I could deal with a few surgeries and broken bones >>

You have no idea how much of a life changing event it was. I went through 9th grade on crutches. I can't run properly, I have pain basically every day. I had to have my leg lengthened, no idea how excrutiating that was. Scars up and down my legs, years of physical therapy. It's not all fund and games.

Eh, I have enough problems on me, a lil more wouldn't bother me if I got a nice fat settlement out of it. If I was a parapeligic then maybe I would ****in kill someone.
