i don't have an o2 sensor hooked up to my intake. i have a loose wire that i think may be the sensor, but i'm not sure.
by the way i am starting my CAI for my GT. took my Cruise Control out tonight and ordered all of my parts.

The sensor is plugged into my intake, just to the right of the filter. The plug has a widened tip like an arrowhead, so that it will stay plugged into wherever you decide to put it >>

i havent had mine hooked up for like a year. i think its an intake temp. sensor if i remember correctly.

Hi, Get the sensor off the factory box & connect it. The sensor apparently has some input into the automatic choke system when you start it.
I've been told if it gets a wrong reading from engine heat then depending on where you live & how cold it gets then you can stall the engine if the the choke thinks that EFI is geting warm air or it will shut off and that might cause damage to the engine if you drive it too soon after thinking it has warmed up enough to drive...
