uh.......i think you're gonna be disappointed, these celicas are not fast at all......even with your basic BPU
I haven't been disappointed in my car what-so-ever. Our cars weight 2400 in curb weight next to civic hatchbacks which are 2200 and are great in gas and have power potential. Ofcourse, doing swaps is one of the main keys in power but you'll be surprised with even the stock motors. I can actually beat hatchback GS-Rs.

and your dsm came turboed already, should've stuck with those cars if ya wanted cheap speed

Pure...

let me finish the sentence for you. Cheap speed that breaks down on you every 5 minutes.
Taylor, a former 6gc member that wrecked his 6th Gen Celica got a 1996 Mitsubishi GS-T Convertible. I told him not to buy it but hey, he got it for $4200 with 82000 miles from the dealership. Next day he bought it, it broke down and he's its been breaking down ever since. He eventually had to rebuilt the whole block becuz one of his cylinders is dead. And he plans on selling it after the rebuilt process is complete and it's only been a month since he had the car. Not to mention the big ars white smoke coming out under his front end. I thought he was peeling out and gave him the thumbs up. But really, the engine leaked out all of it's oil on the second day.
But hey, nice to of you to join us celicachick87. If you got any questions, these guys will answer their best. We've got alot of experienced people here as well as certified mechanics. And esp since you are a female, they'll play nice.
