cut the head off the bolt and tap it through, then cut some off the other side and tap it through back from where it came and then all the way out.
what are you trying to do exactly? remove the alternator or just change the belt?

you need to buy yourself a set of boltouts. they are a must when working on cars. you can buy them at sears or even pepboys. here is what they look like.

You have a couple of options.
You can hammer a slightly smaller impact socket on to the bolt the tighter the better and get out the breaker bar.
Grind a slit in the top of the bolt and try using a flat head (probably wont work in this case?)
Drill it out
You could tourch it, but that ones up to you
And dont forget the PB blaster
One of these will get that bolt off

torch it a little and then use a bolt out made by craftsman (accept no imitations)
breaker bars ftw great investments
Alright, im looking into getting a set of bolt-outs. Which one would be the "best" universal one? The 13 peice one in the red case or the 10 piece "low profile" one?
were you using a 6 point socket?
