Here's how my car came out after the paint job. Hope you guys think it looks better. In my opinion I don't think the new color is better but think its more of JDM scheme. The paint if you are wondering is Toyota Super White 040. The clear coat was mixed with the silver pearl when sprayed so that it potentially does not make it khaki but to retain its super white color. Rims got painted a metallic custom gun metal. The color of the rims I tried to make the shop match it to P5ycho's GT4 but it came out darker and I liked it as well. Too bad I haven't put the rear splitters yet though. See profile for mods.

looks really good, actually. i'm usually not a fan of white cars myself, but with the tint and the dark wheels...it's a nice overall package.

you should take some close up pics so we can see the silver pearl!

What tint is on the windsheild?? looks really dark. Id get pulled over in a sec if i had that. lol

I like what you did with the celica. Just put on the rear splitters and smoke out the turn and side markers and your exterior is set. It would be a clean, semi-stock look with a touch of JDM. My celica should look similar with the ss-III splitters, skirts, and smoked out turns when I receive them (Too bad I don't have the fog lights though )

in my opinion it looks way better than the blue.... but i just have a thing for white celica's good job!

your rims have come out real nice mate, and suit the car right down to a T,
they are a bit darker than my wheels but i like them, as yours have more spokes it makes them look good.
i might redo my spare set in the same colour...

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the comments, been spending too much time thinking about what color I wanted for the whole scheme. FYI, the tint is called dark smoke all around even the sunroof except for the front - it is a full face medium smoke. Dunno the % but its real dark, I had to keep the front a lil lighter so that I can see the road. My friends have dark smoke all around. I also liked it when it was blue, looked real good and unique but it wasn't JDM enough for me, I thought.

so if u get a car painted white you have to add some kinda pearl into the clear coat to prevent it from yellowing?

its hard to even see with 20% all around at night for me... i really like the dark tint look, but I would be afraid for small animals or other things at night... I like the color change a lot, def a good looking white celi now

Chrisc special ordered them for me from Japan. They are oem not replicas. Costed me only about a 100 dollars without shipping. My shipping was crazy cus it could only be express shipped to my place for I think 40-75 dollars. The part should not cost more than between 100-135.

No, you can paint the car white and keep it white. It is if you want pearl white, it kinda creates a yellowish-offwhite look so mixing the pearl with the clear coat seperates it from mixing it with the paint preventing that.
