i was reading that once you pop out the old rod and and start to put the new rod from the quickshift in, that you have to grease up the two seperate ends. i'm wondering what kind of grease should be used? hope this made sense

just wondering...why are you taking out the rod? the TRD quickshifter comes with the entire assembly already greased up and everything

the ball and socket joints for the linkage connections should need to be lubed.
any transparent synthetic grease should work well. i use bike grease...waterproof, durable, and clean.
do you know who i am, mr. worley?
yea i meant the shift linkage not the shifter rod, sorry didn't know the terminology
