GT-4 YESSSS - 6G Celicas Forums

So on my way home from work tonight (just to give you an idea, it's around 1am) I got to see my first GT-4! Not up close an personal mind you, but it was awesome. I think I re-entered puberty. I haven't seen one since I got to the UK and it was going around 30-40k so gettin' speed and so sexy! Just a random encounter post! Makes me want to stay here permenantly and buy one...too bad the wife would kick my @$$ first!

Sweet. I've seen one up close and personal. But i guess i can't really say it was a real one. Because the guy put the 3rd gen 3s in it and made the custom AWD setup. But it was close enough lol. Hopefully i'll see a real GT-4 somday.

Is it you that lives near Harrogate?????

If it is, I have a few days off in a couple of weeks, I`ll take you for a spin, I don't live too far from Harrogate.

How hard is it to find one of those in the states n how much you think it would go for??

Thats awesome that you witnessed the real deal. thumbsup.gif

I might be going to London this spring for a week, the girlfriend is studying abroad this semester and I figure what better time.....if I do go, I demand that I get to experience some GT-Four action up close and personal. smile.gif Boy do I love them....such great looking, fun, and practical machines.

Yeah someone where I work owns a stock one, i just saw the hood and was like "Wha.." lol. Also where I work there are 3 Skylines inlcuding 1 very beautifully done up GT-R. There was a Viper at one point, that was about 2 years ago though.

Really hard to find GT-FOURS in the states, cause most states dont allow them frown.gif

And then of course there's the constant Maserati/Aston Martin/Bentley(occasionally)/Ferrari/Lambo sightings...now there's something that can make you forget what your name is!

Yea...I kinda figured that one out smile.gif...dose that mean the weddings off now.

When I`m done working away, I`ll be in touch and sort something out.....see if I can arrange it for the same time as a "Squires Milk bar" meet......(about 45mins drive from Harrogate) and you can see lots of Supra`s, Skylines, Evo`s...yada yada yada.

I think there's like 2 or 3 in the US... and I think one sold for like $15K-ish... or something like that.

Dont make ANY plans for the 28th January...there is a potentially rather large Jap meet not too far from you, maybe an hours drive if your interested....lots of performance cars will be attending as well as a few GT4`s, I`ll PM you nearer the time with details.

DAMNIT! Ok. Here's the scoop. I won't be here. The offer is much appreciated and I just wish there were more people like you where I'm from mate! I found out today my TDY is ending and i'm heading back to the states in nearly a week from now. You don't know how bad I wanted to meet up with some cool people. That sucks. I can look forward to the JSP2007 meet though, hopefully that doesn't fall through! Well mate, i'll definitely take a rain check, and don't forget to take some pics! (However...I will need to order my JDM heads, highs, and tails before I leave to send back to the US!)
