kumho ecsta asx's are your best deal for an inexpensive price. i work for tire discounters and i had to learn all about this crap. the asx has a higher speed rating than the ast and it's all season, asymetrical, so. but if you want to spend a little extra money go with the toyo proxe 4's. i personally would never buy a michellin because they have bead seating problems because of their soft rubber compound and i have kumho ast's on my mr2 and they kick ass. very good grip, in rain and dry. if you're lookin to save some money go with the ast or asx from kumho. just my opinion.

MR2 Turbo - Sold
I'm running Khumo' ASX as well and i cannot complain. For the price they work just fine, i also have a 3s, but im not pushing any huge numbers or anything. But i needed a somewhat all season tire (new england) and these khumo's have delivered just fine

Any other suggestions? At the moment I am looking at one of these:

Goodyear F1 DS G3
BFG KDW 2 (KDW NT)
Toyo T1-R

Or anything else >$200 a tire off tirerack. (or any other website)

good tire, i have always had khumo (besides that bull**** springfield tire) but they wear out fast. you notice a difference in the first week or so but after that, BURN BABY BURN!
