Yea American Idol hella making us seattle look really bad. MOST OF THESE PEOPLE ARE MAKING SEATTLE WAY WORSE THEN WE ARE DO IT.........WE SUCK AT SINGING........

Why the heck all these dumb people try out anyway? They are wasting LINE SPACE! Don't they know American Idol is only looking for the best of the best and all of your auditions have to be the best of the best. If you can't sing as nearly as good as the past American Idols, then don't even bother trying. Unless you are William Hung ofcourse...

Hey now, I tried out and got rejected. I, as well as others, think I'm a wonderful singer. But to them (the judges), I was just average, nothing out of the ordinary. frown.gif

When you go.. do you go through a filtering judging system? --> or does Simon and the other two listen to EVERY single one? Does not seem the main 3 would have enough time to listen to everybody..

Btw, Jen where did you audition?

Yes. You basically try out 3 times. I think they pick the average to really good ones, and the really bad ones for entertainment purposes.

Whoever is picked from the first couple auditions, are the ones that see the judges.

I tried out in Orlando - 3 seasons ago. smile.gif

Sorry to bring this old thread up, but as we get the shows really late over here, i just wanted to say that Seattle really sucked! I watched it tonight and when i saw how bad Seattle was protrayed, i remembered this thread. I was watching it with a couple of friends and, me being originally from Washington, i had a hell of a time trying to convince them that it was all an act and people can't really be that bad.

lol i loved seattle it proved that we really do have like the largest group of ugly people. Just like tom lykis says :-)
