quick question about stx celica - 6G Celicas Forums
an STX is an ST, the X was a dealer option which meant you got all of the options (correct me if I'm wrong). Also, I believe Canada got the STX instead of the ST. Once again, some one correct me if I'm wrong
my st205 swapandour Beams swap
i dont think its the options one cuz i dont got all the options like i got basic speakers and such
do you have power windows?
sun roof?
radio+cd+tape player?
Air conditioning?
The american ST can come with VERY basic stuff, such as roll up windows.
The X in stx just means you got a slightly more goodies compared to the basic st.

my st came with power windows, sunroof, cd player, ac, rear windshield wiper, and everything else i can think of except leather seats and the 8-speaker system. so what's so special about an stx?

i got power everything and cd and tape but no sunroof or 8 speaker setup
same here, mine came power everything, no sunroof or 8 speaker, i added the extra speakers and am working on the sunroof, would have been nice had i found one with all the goodies already in it =/

I have a 97 Canadian dealer brochure and is not showing an ST.
It is showing a GT or a GT-S package. The 97 Canadian GT
has less performance tires and no passenger airbag. The standard
GT didn't even have alloys.
I would assume the STX is just another clever way for toyota to
desguise an ST. I read somthing about them on here somewhere
I'll see if I can find it. There are a few members on 6gc that have them.
Fairly Rare.

stx? i've always thought that the STX celicas were in australia and new zealand only?? guess i was wrong. i think i just got mixed up btwn SX, SR and ZX.
btw, it seems like options such as a/c, power options, leather, CD, 8 spkr, sunroof, etc. are all optional on ST and GT celicas.. the only difference i assume is the motor then?
