just got back from the dyno. i made some really good power from the ct26 with water injection. ended up hitting 247hp and 270tq at 16psi ! thats an 18hp and 21tq gain from where i was before !

nice. the water injection really helps alot. can we see a comparison from the graph before and this?

Turbo install made possible thanks toTeamJ.D.M.officially 5SFTE junior member~*MuH NeW RiDe*~
here is the before and after. the dyno operator started to record my dyno a 4k of my WI run, but you can clearly see how it made a lot more power through the entire rpm range

270tq...whoa. Fanstastic results.
A/F looks real good too.

for the 1st run, my a/f ratio was getting lean into the 13s (but with no knock). i had to add about 10% fuel with the safc to get it into a nice and safe 11s

Were the numbers higher on the first run?

very nice art! that WI is probably your best mod yet
oooooh man ive been waiting for this thread for a couple weeeks now
Nice numbers Art, I think Manny hooked his WI up this afternoon.
I wonder what 18 psi would have given you?
GREAT results art, why'd you start your run so late?
now i can back up your raves about smurf piss as well!
got my kit installed a little while ago...this stuff is GREAT.

My best run was 287hp and 290ft/lb .. at 14-15psi.. but for some reason the lines are alll over the chart.. they start to smoothen out after 6K... I need to figure this out..
After my first run guy told me I did 299hp.. turns out I guess that was on STD correction tho not SAE.. bleh.
Also either my AEM wideband is reading out wrong or their wideband in my muffler was reading out wrong.. They had me at near 14afr.. yet the whole time I watched my gauge and I never broke above 11... except for when I hit 19PSI then I saw 11's... yet my best power seemed to be at 14-15psi.. so I gotta figure out what is going on.. I have a few idea's already.

i started the runs at like 3k to match up with my old ones, but i think the dyno operator didnt start recording till 4k for some reason. he did the same thing on punishers car.
steve, after looking at your dyno again, you do run out of fuel on your 1st 19psi run. then after you turned the boost down to 14psi, you have the fuel, but you have MAJOR knock response. the cause of it is either your timing or your turbo.
everyone on here and mr2oc uses STD correction. so its ok to post your numbers in that.

congrats on the great #s..post the charts i bet you get some nice response outta the 'spud too!
be sure to post that on mr2oc too, they'd like to see those results as well.

1st run made 248 and 271... so about 1hp difference. id rather loose that and be safer.

I would've done better.. but something is up.. I don't know why the power is all over the damn place.. stick it up on mr2oc.. maybe they can lend some insight..
I'm gonna check some things out when I get the chance.. too tired to give a fruck right now.

seems like your going lean, and hitting knock response from ~4800-6K+
are you running 550s? or the stockers?

I don't feel like typing everything up here so u can read the whole run down with my engine on mr2oc
http://www.mr2oc.com/showthread.php?p=2363221#post2363221it's the stockers.. if that is the case than my wideband is lying to me.. or the fuel ain't getting burnt in the cylinders...

very nice gains

just convinced me to get that setup myself!

classic knock response whether the a/f is correct or not.

I wonder why it didn't show on the knock LEDs then...

http://dv.mistertam.com/4.htmCheck it out.. looks a lot like my dyno graph huh?
Turns out I put the diverter valve in backwards.. I seem to have an issue with installing things backwards huh? Honest mistake seeing as the valve didn't come with instructions and on Forges website they have instructions for installing on a vehicle that comes with a factory bosch recirc valve.. so no help there. I installed it in the most logical way I thought.. but anyway what is happening is the valve was opening and then closing.. which is why my boost/horsepower was fluctuating so greatly..

Great results guys. Now I need to dyno my stock by summer just to have a baseline for possible future mods.

hey, you guys need to add your charts to the dyno registry!!!

I'll add my next chart.. this one is horrible cuz of the boost issue.. I flopped that recirc valve around today and she boosts hella quicker.. more responsive.. I'll get back to the dyno in a week or two.

the forge website says that you can install it either way, and also, from the link that you just posted
"The function and sole job of the dv is to maintain an air-tight seal during acceleration, and remain open at all other intervals. It's as simple as that.
No matter which way you install it, there is pressure that's going to try to open up the spring and release air."
