do it in the cleanest enviroment possible, if you have access to a goverment controlled clean room, use it!!! the tiniest hairs and crap get stuck in it, also make sure you use denatured alchohol to clean them really good or the paint wont go on right. And TAKE YOUR TIME!!! very very very very, did I mention VERY, small coats. and let each coat dry before continuing, the longer it takes will most likely mean the better it comes out... And I highly recomend clear coat at the end. Also dont be eager to pop em back in, let them dry for a long time... I drove without a dash for like 2 days for the whole process, I messed up the first time by putting on thick coats and was too eager to pop em back in...
I just put mine silver, YEAH TAKE YOUR TIME, and I used denatured alcohol as well worked great! I used one clear coat but I think 2 or 3 would have been a better idea. it looks great though!
Oh yeah, read the topic I just put up of taking out the right vent, you actualy basicaly have to break it out, its in this same topic forum.
I'm just going to take my panels into a friend of a friend and have them paint them the same metallic silver as my car.
i am awesome
