Alright guys and gals, here's the scoop. I've recently been overseas for nearly 3 months and have been given the oppoutunity to stay permenantly. Being in the situation that I am (ie. nearly married, fiance just bought a car) I will be selling my GT. I will be PCSing (PCS refers to moving or a permenant station) to the UK probably for 2 years. Here's the info on the car:

The car is in Maryland (doesn't matter what city because I can drop off depending on how close) and has been garaged in a storage unit for the past 3 months (longer than I've been in the UK) and has been taken out (but not left the grounds of the unit) to be started up and let run.

The stock specs/maintained parts:
- 98 white celica gt
- abs of course
- manual drive
- car has about 110,000 miles on it
- replaced the engine with a manufactured 5S-FE around August (I do have all the appropriate paperwork)
- replaced the entire front axle setup (have all appropriate paperwork)
- car had stock flywheel and clutch replaced nearly a month after bought (about 09/06) from carmax by carmax
- synthetic oil is being used
- Tires new, have receipts (bought then left country)
- replaced cigarette lighter
- CD player

Things that will be done before selling within 2 weeks:
- Checkup
- Oil change
- Head gasket replacment (last toyota visit claims needed)
- Tune up

Things that are issues that I won't be fixing:
- A/C pump? and clutch are (according to Toyota) are bad/broken
- Air filter on Injen intake little dirty
- No carpet, was bad, in the middle of replacing
- Only driver seat, in bad condition

Things I either installed or had installed aftermarket:
- Injen Short Ram Intake
- Eibach Pro Sport Springs
- Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pulley
- PIAA Bright White Bulbs
- GReddy SPII Catback Exhaust
- Llumar (IMO is better than 3M) 35% Window Tint all around (legal in MD)
- TWM Performance Short Throw Shifter
- ApexI S-AFC II unit
- Dynamat installed from back seats to the entire trunk ($350 worth)

Items I have as incentives to go with car:
- Recently bought brand new JDM tails, projector heads, and clear highs (paid $1200)
- All parts needed for S2K antenna conversion (paid something like $65)
- Radar detector (worth $200)

You'll have to understand that this Celica is my baby. I've had her for about 14 months now. I have all the proper receipts. I am only asking for what I owe, actually, a bit less. Being that my car is in excellent condition body-wise as well as engine condition (it being remanufactured and all) I am asking the price of $6500. According to Kelley Blue Book in my condition it's work nearly $8K. I hope someone will take my offer into consideration. I will respond to any PMs made and any serious offers will be entertained. I can be talked down. Also, realize that I will only have until mid-March to get rid of this car, I will be leaving the country and need to get rid of it ASAP. while i think your asking price is more than fair, considering the year/condition and included parts... KBB does not take into account any type of engine replacement, which drastically lowers the value of the car.

And as you can tell, all i'm doing is just telling everyone all the info I have. I'm not shysty. Also, if you look at KBB, the price for my actual mileage is only $1K lower; which is still higher than the amount owed and i'm taking into consideration that there is only a single seat. Hey guys, sorry it took me so long to keep this thing up to date. I guess my only question is: Is there anyone out there willing to take a look at this? I've actually lowered the price to $6000, also, since I don't have the internet at my house (I'm at the library), I can't really get any new pics up, but it looks exactly the same as it does in my profile. Nothing has changed. Also, don't forget about the JDM items. I leave around March 1, so if anyone is considering, let me know ASAP please. Cheers.

Unfortunately yes, I had a thread on here about my interior progress. I am going to buy carpet but there is only going to be 1 seat in the car. I checked out prices for some aftermarket seats but they're too expensive at the moment, with me moving and everything.
