ok..here's the deal. I previously owned a Galant. she wasn't much and not really racin material, but hey...gotta love her. Well i totalled her a few weeks ago. >> Now i'm on that hectic, depressing search for a car to replace her. So far, i've had no luck w/ a 6th Gen, which is my "logical dream car"(what..i can't have a 360 Modena at the snap of my fingers!). See where i'm from..it's hard to find older model Celica's. >> So its like a never ending search to get one...but the deals even sweeter cuz i'll be like one of the few in my town that owns one! Anywayz....so far i've had no luck replacin my Galant. I did however come across a...don't kill me please...a'96 Honda Accord. Its not too bad. And it's for a good price, and good milage...i donno..i've never owned a Honda, but i know they hold good milage. So, if any one can give me any info on maybe a good price for a Celi...and save me the agony of buying a Honda...let me know. I will be eternally greatful!! >>

Well, the first place I'd send you is AutoTrader. That's where I look occasionally for new used car that are up for sale in my area. The prices give you a pretty good idea to what stuff will cost. Just keep searching for the Celica...the Accord might be tempting, but EVERYONE and their grandma has one. Once you find the Celica, you'll be happy that you have something original and you'll get more respect for it in the long run. I would say that if you think you find a good deal on Autotrader, try and get a report on it. Post the link on here and ask if its a decent price and such, like if its an overall good deal. There are pleanty of people here that have gone through your situation and have a good amount of knowledge on whether the Celica would be bad or not. I wish you the best of luck!

regards to ebay - read their feedback. And dont be scared to talk to the seller. If they want you to bid then they will explain anything you need.

accord - *can sense arrows about to fly at him* they are nice. My friends bro has one. id drive one first, but imo the celica is the way to go if u can find one.

In my opinion, the only nice Accords are the 2 door 98-02 model. NSX-inspired tail lights. The car is beautiful.

I dont know why you think we would all hate hondas... I used to have an accord, that car kicked ass. It was an '87 with 290,000 miles on it. I still use it for a field car. The thing kicks major arse. Hondas are great cars, just dont be like everyone else and make it a rice rocket...

What's there to agonize about? Honda's make great cars. People here say Honda's suck because of the retarded driver's out there or because they have to much Toyota pride. Honda's are great and don't let anyone discourage you.

Which is y i'm strivin to be different.Hondas are good cars..they're just not Celi's. I mean..my mom had a supra when she was pregnant w/ me..so...i kinda was raised around toyotas...but anyways. thank u once again for ur advice. i'll keep lookin for the Celi..but the Accords still in the back of my mind.

welp..i've done it again! i just got in ANOTHER accident! i wasn't drivin though. my mom and i were goin to look at cars and as we were comin out of our neighboorhood we got pulled over for speedin ( my mom has an 01 Eclipse). so we got the ticket for speedin and one cuz my mom couldn't find her new insurance card. so we get the tickets and go about 10 miles. As were were about to pull onto the road goin to the dealership my mom spots a porshe (were in 5 0'clock traffic mind u) she's points at it and is like Tara look at that porshe....i turned around and looked at it..next thing i know **BAMM*** my mom ran into the back of a Ford Explo!!! our car wrinkled like a tin can. well the lady that we hit in the explo calls the cops and its the exact same cop taht pulled us over for speedin!!! talk about luck!!!!! and even better the lady that we hit was pregnant! it has not been a good day. lol...i think its time for sum beer.....
