I have a 95 celica gt and I was wondering if anyone out there has tried turboing an auto gt? I have a ct26 and a 2nd gen manifold and some other parts that i have been collecting for a 5sfte, but i'm wondering if I would need to swap out the tranny for a solara trans or if the stock tranny will hold.

I have a 3S swap and I've put 300 miles on my auto trans that has upwards of 100,000 miles on it. Seems to be doing fine. Sorry I can't be of more help just letting you know that the A140E won't instantly grenade.

On a side note OOBE has an auto ST that he's been driving for quite some time I don't think he's had any trans problems either.

i have a auto st i have turboed and it has been almost a year and no troubles, i think you should be ok toyota makes very good trannys

same here almost a year on a st auto tranny.;.....but its in a corolla
