Just was wondering this on the way home today, was comparing the lighting scheme on the nexus gagues and the thought struck me. Has anyone simply gone to white on their cluster and dash equip??? I think if you could keep it from being too bright it might actually look ok.

I think a fair number of people have changed their cluster bulbs (myself included). Some went the led route, while others just changed the bulbs (eg. hyper white's).

There's a ton of colours available out there, and the cluster bulbs themselves are very easy to change. I love my whites more than the stock green (ew).

The lightning on the centre console equipement is a little bit harder to alter tho, although it's been done by several here.

Yeah, I realize what's involved, I was just wondering if anyone had just gone plain old white and how it looked. Pics would be great.

well i tried the lights in the cluster w/o the little green condom on it, i didnt like it, they werent bright. i wanted to get the hyper white. i think/kno those would look awesome! i put some red 194A it there for now tho, and my center console all has lights that have been modified, iven my aftermarket stereo, i hated the green. now all orange, or red.

I took off the green covers.. I like the white look...

needles painted orange so they are a little darker.. but you can see the brightness on the Odometer and trip..
