I am typing with the On-Screen keyboard so this'll be brief. I painted under the fenders black, removed bumper, hood, lowbeams, and fenders. Also painted left caliper and over the surface where the fenders go. Still need to do the right one, the rear drums, part of engine bay, valve cover, exhaust manifold, and interior. I am getting a custom-made radiator so I can fit the TO4E compressor I never installed when I purchased the turbo. I am also doing something cool with the exhaust I will not disclose yet. I will be making some fiberglass pieces for the interior and installing another car's gauge cluster. Will update with better pics later and more details. Stay tuned.



Intercooler looks big without a bumper to cover it.


Everything is dirty; lack of use and rats are to blame.


Fuel rail modified with braided lines.


Turbo oil return line, downpipe flexpipe, and external wastegate discharge.


Exhaust piping with a resonator and Magnaflow muffler at the end.

nice work. do you intend to redo your exhaust? cause the part where it goes over the axle and where it's crushed bent.. looks kindda small.. maybe consider going under axle? less bent?

The turbo was hard to spin, but once oil got in there, it went back to normal. Right now it's wingless, with GT-FOUR hood and stock bumper. Looks sweet from 10 feet away.

I finally put some of the car together. I still need to install the l/h axle. I painted the valve cover black, but still need to paint the rest. Insurance money hasn't gotten here so I cannot send it to the paint/body shop. I sold the Microtech standalone because I changed my mind on the plans. I will be getting an e-Manage Ultimate. I'll buy another turbo car with more potential than this one. But so far, the 7A-FTE has proven to be reliable under the sh!tty treatment from me, haha. This week it should be out.

Nice work BTW. When I first saw the rooster [after the rats comment] I thought you were gonna say it was found in the engine compartment LOL. We found kibbles and bits in Ngofcukinway's Camry's intake box when we were adding his short ram LOL.

Nothing pretty yet but that's why it's a progress thread...the progress of a once mint Celica that fell victim of Puertorican rats, while its owner served his country overseas.

Looks beautiful to me! The rats were the culprets in the Kibbles and Bits incident too. Damn those rats and their attacks on Toyota engines! We need to enlist our dogs to safeguard our engines from the vermin forces.
