I don't have low brake fluid, so is it my pads? Or what? I have no problem driving or braking, but come to think about it, the pads could used changing.

well kinda maybe it's the switch. Take the console off and see if the switch is making contact or not working properly.

Check the fuse to your ABS too, if you have it. The ABS will make the brake light come on too. It's probibly a faulty switch in the e-brake though.

I don't have ABS. Jaws, I think I would know if I had the ebrake up. Dustin and bulldog, thanks for the posts. Will take your advice and see whats up.

My old acura used to do the same thing. And it turned out to be the switch just like Dustin said. I'd check that.

check that the fluid level sensor is working, plugged in well, and the wires to it aren't damaged.

ever figure it out? i have the same problem, but mine will go off sometimes and then go back on while i am driving, like it has a mind of its own.
