hmm... i think i should get my interior reupholstered. i was thinking of some kinda fake leather, but alcantara looks pretty good. can't wait to see the whole thing put together.

not totaly sure but i think so... its the same material that ALL oem automotive manufactures use in there highend cars ie.911, AMG, M5 ect...

LOVING teh alcantara. i believe alcantara is basically a synthetic suede. feels awesome. my tC came with full alcantara interior. very comfortable. now brush that headliner! lol.

hrm no M5 or AMG, i know came with alcantra they are all leather...
but M3 CSL did

either way the seats look very nice....but don't you think it will be too bright and need a lil contrast?

i plan on tinting the windows also... im sure that will tone all the red down a bit... but all in all, red on red on red is the master plan!!! why so much red??? 1: i love the color (obviously) 2: red has never been taken this far with a 6g celica (or any other celica for that matter), 3: is going to be a serous "jaw droper" on the streets!!!

any ways, we fixed that stupid center channel speaker, i yanked it off the dash and we mounted it to the headliner... it looks right at home there to me... what do you think???

any day now on the paint.. mean while the wiring mayhem contiues and starts to payoff finaly!!!
we finaly got the valor navi system up and runing!!! now all i have to do is build a nice flush box and wire up the amps and subs!!! by the way, i also got my center console cover reupholstered...

my b/f is telling me in 2 weeks it will be done ... wich is posible if thay stay steady on it, but you know how these things go... its always late!!! but i rather get the celi back late and know is right than have a "cut coner job" that done now...

i just finished my guage cluster... looks pritty good, but i think im going to replace the lenze its all spotty and scratched up... im also thinking of tinting the new linze with 50% mirror!!! i will probly have to run the gauges full time to see them thoe... but should look realy cool!!! what yall think?

^i woulda looked for the black faced ones.

and!

just go tint, dont mirror tint them. Ull have trouble seeing them (even with them on) when u get sun on the mirror tint.

while still waiting for paint i went up to the shop and retrofited the green key ring light with red 194 led light... it was a very EZ mod... took me 15 to finish up along with my led tag lights!!!!!! looks much better than before, realy nice and brite now!!! i also got my rear vew camera today and wired it into the system...
