Soooooooo. Awhile ago, my ex and I broke up (mutually, we're still friends).

Well, at my work, we have volunteers from high school that come in and help out. Anyway I became friends with a few of them, and added them on MySpace (mistake).

My ex (Peter) came in to volunteer once, and one of these high school volunteers (his name is B) took it upon himself to add Peter, even though he didn't really know him. Peter was like, whatever I'll add him, sure. No biggy, right.

Somehow, word got around about the reason my ex and I broke up (lying). Well, B took it upon himself to spam Peter's MySpace with a comment like.. "you assh-le, why'd you lie. i'd be lucky to have her. well, you lost your chance, now it's my turn."

What the hell? And he posted it 20+ times. He also has on his MySpace a section that says, "JENNIFER, I WISH I COULD TELL YOU I LOVE YOU!" WHAT THE HELL?!

Everytime I talk to him at work, he fidgits.. and doesn't look me in the eyes.. something's seriously wrong with him. I've been nice to him because that's just how I am.. but now this happened..

I'm a wee bit creeped out by this, okay.. maybe a lot. Should I take this to my supervisor?

I dare this kid to show up at work Monday.

God, no. Clearly this kid is shy and inmature and possibly a bit of a loner. Tell him that while you don't like Peter's past actions you still like Peter and you are still friends. Tell him (B) that you won't put up with anyone bad-mouthing any of your friends, including Peter. Also tell him that some girls might see his behaviour as a little creepy and that while he might have had good intentions it isn't attractive.

You could leave it at that, or if you feel like being spiteful or a bit cruel you could go on to deliver one of the classic put-downs eg. "you are like a brother to me, you know that don't you?".

Step 1: Tell him hes creepy for all the posting he's done to peters myspace
Step 2: Tell him his feelings for you are a one way street
Step 3: Remove him from your friends
Step 4: Tell (peter) the situation
Step 5: All else fails scare him away?

I know I don't know you at all but thats what i would do...also myspace creeps me out, it has become very stalkerish and an immature site (for some not all) Good luck in whatever happens

hmm.... maybe you should try not to be so pretty anymore. and don't be such a nice person either. basically don't be or do whatever he and other creepy stalker guys "love" about you. i know that must be extremely difficult for you but you have to try.

I'd say if it progresses and he gets more creepy thats when you should go to your supervisor...

I just wouldnt talk to him, and if ya do make it quick and straight to the point and move on lol

he doesn't seem like a threat so i don't think getting your supervisor involved is necessary. if you don't mind ever seeing or talking to this kid again, then ignoring him's the way to go. but if you don't wanna push him away, stick him in the friend zone and make it obvious that you have no interest in him other than friendship. who knows, in 10 years he might turn out to be hott guy or what-not. now if none of my ideas work out, you can do what lew said and move here.

I've just never had this happen before. I mean, I'm really creeped out. Idk, I'm weird I guess. He wrote me a message on MySpace saying that his "cousin" did it.

I find that hard to believe.

Maybe this thread was pointless, but I get creeped out easily with guys like this. Ew. Yes, I'm superficial. Don't care.
