so now what? hes written me a couple of times saying he misses me and truly cares about me and wants to be with me but we both know that right at this moment in time we cant be. He has things to work on and im kinda doing my own thing to better myself.

but....we were talking about what would need to happen if we got back together and I said he would need to stop talking to the chick who disrespected our relationship. I also mentioned he was one to disrespect our relationship by talking to her in a flirting manner.

he said he would not put up with an altamateum (sp?) of who he could talk to or not. Its not like im saying he cant talk to his friends. Im saying that he should end contact with a girl who hes never even met and who he disrespected our relationship by flirting with.

Do you think I should stick to my guns? I mean im very serious about that ending before we get back together. Im not going to tell him who he can and cant talk to and id hope that he would wanna stop talkign to her considering he would lose me if he doesnt. and he says he really wants to be with me and truly cares for me. If he really wanted to get back with you, he should have no problem giving up this random girl for you... The fact that he isnt really giving up on her is a red flag in my eyes.

Breaking up and then getting back together sucks too... I went through that a couple times with my last bf and it seemed that each time we got back together there were even more problems then before... It was an endless cycle. We break up, get back together, only to breakup again... You feel trapped almost it seems like.

Stick to your reasons for the breakup and hold on tight to them. I dont think you wanna make the same mistake I did...

It sounds like he needs to figure out what matters more to him, his girl friend or an internet chick he flirts with. My friend found her BF on several dating sites just a day after they "took a break" then when they got back together a few days later he refused to delete himself from the dating sites because he didnt see the big deal...sooo I dunno why some guys think its ok to do that? Makes the other person feel like sh!t & like they arent good enough.

I bet he wouldnt like it if it was the other way around. He calls it an ultimatum but all your really asking him to do is show you some respect & show you that he cares about you more than his computer life lol

If he cant give up something so simple then he obviously isn't ready to be in a relationship.
