hey guys i'm installing a piggy back and i need a 96 celica ecu pinout for the 5sfe engine w/ maunal tranny. i searched and found nothing but st's and 94-95 pinouts. appreicate it

the pinouts should be the same just the wire colors are different (since thats how it is for the 7A). I have .pdf versions of the ECU wiring diagrams for both engines. I found them on celicatech somewhere, I can't find it anymore but luckily I saved them. the one for the 7A was for 96+ (because I cross-referenced it to a 94-95 and the wire colors were different) so I assume the 5S diagrams I found in the same place are also 96+. if you want to give it a shot I can e-mail it to you, just let me know

thanks ya i saw those diagrams too on there but wasn't sure if they are equal. i see if the cross reference of the colors are the same.

96+ are just a little bit different from the 94-95. The distributor is wired different and there is an extra O2 sensor. I have all the 94-99 diagrams on my computer at home. I'll try and post the 96 diagram for you tonight.
