Ok i just got photoshop the other day, its the older version, since i didn't feel like paying for it, im still trying to learn and because i don't have the manual im learning as i go. But anyway, i just made myself a signature, it fits the 400X125 pixel requirement , but its over 20kb's and the question is i don't know how to scale that down. btw its only 3 little pictures and its not that intricate.

what format is the photo? if its not already, convert it to jpeg. jpeg is a compressed image file so it will be smaller.

Photobucket gives you different size options.
I did my av scaling it in photobucket.

play around with the # of colors, my sig, gif image & i think i have like 30 colors or 20 if im not mistaken, VERRRY small file size

thanks guys, im startin to figure it out, i found where you can adjust the image quality, idk ill keep messin around try to do somin nice

just do "File.... Save for web" then you can adjust the quality to bring it down under 20k
