Hey Vince, I got the cooling plate Today and installed it and I can't seem to put the hood latch back down now that the cooling plate is mounted. Any suggestions?

that's the way it is for cooling plates, or at least that what I think, I have a beatrush cooling plate and it is the same way so I would say that's normal.

The radiator panel works by increasing the air flow into the radiator by redirecting the air stream above the radiator.
Most vehicles will see an average of 40ºF (5ºC) reduction in water temperatures.>

Vincent, i'm ready to send the cash. Can you wrap the plate really, really good?

I believe you have been talking about this, right?

I believe it's just not possible ship that w/o any harm (else is some brace packed with that and shipping costs will raise because of weight raise)

I took that plate to body shop and they told me is able to fix it... it will cost something, but should be fixed. I'll post pics when will be done to see results.

note: btw. Vince, is that pure aluminum plate or it's some hard aluminium (dural)??? Can you tell that?

Should be arrived next week sometime, hope the outcome is satisfactory this time.

So, if any of the members still dibs on the plate, hold your money and let's see the outcome, if yes, proceed, if no, I need to find another solution.

The new package with double cardboard protection doubles/tripples the weight and cost more for shipping!!

However, the most important thing is the plate arrive in one perfect piece!!

Ok. So what's the new price?

"Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic. Butrevolutionariesbuilt the Celica!"- Me
No problem Vince, thanks for helping all of us out with this type of problem. I bought my Curren taillights from you in excellent condition and for this type of thing to happen is unexpected, in fact the picture Malpaso posted was how my cooling plate looked like when I received it too. So don't feel bad about a thing because it ain't your fault. You are still an A+ seller in my book. biggrin.gif

I had phone call today from body shop. It's fixed. Material is aluminum so no problem with welding wink.gif. Also they told me on that plate is some special hardened paint. So only pity thing is I will repaint it...

>>>>>>Relax...

Sorry to reply late, the cost to Puerto Rico is a bit expensive than USA say 5 bucks more, and as you read thru the sales thread, some plate had been damaged via shipping.

I wanna wait for the new modified package to arrive and see everything fine b4 I sell more plate to others.

Hope you understand, the new package cost me like 5-10 bucks more than the one I sent b4, of course depending on different countries.

The shipping service is kinda airmail parcel with tracking, say 1 week time to states.

Hope this can help!>
