Hey, I was wondering who all had done on the ST a drum to disk break conversion? How hard is it, and does it make all the difference im thinking it may? And just curious how much the parts cost you, thought i figure you got em 2nd hand. Thanks guys >

I'm probably gonna be done when I get started...hehehe... I doubt it'll take me more than a few hours... Either way, to answer your questions, It's not too difficult if you know what you're doing. I just happen to... if not, get help from a manual or something. I bought the complete rear brake parts from fastlane95gt for about $300 shipped... and that's a VERY fair price. I doubt you'll be able to find them at a wrecking yard that cheap. The swap itself is pretty straight-forward... if you buy the parts intact. I believe the guy who did the write-up did not buy his together, intact.

I went to a junk yard and got both spindles, with all the internal drum parts, and both rotors, a 6th gen GT strut bar and 5th gen mirrors for like $50!
