how to install nitrous - 6G Celicas Forums

install nitrous is not very dificult.

the main problem is: can you tune your engine for the nitrous? And are you going to beable to install the kit will a 100% garentee that nothing goes wrong. Because if your engine runs lean in the higher rpms your engine will be toast.

my engine right now is running toward the rich side at high rpms, i have a 255 supra fuel pump still in the car, also i would prolly just be using the 25-35 shot occasionaly, not all to often. but could i hook it up myself?? what all does it consist of?

not a good match for your car, no

This seems like a MAF kit (wehre you spray n2o before the MAF sensor, the maf sensor sees the add+ cold air coming in, and tells the ECU to add fuel). Your car doesnt run a maf sensor so you need a Dry kit that will add fuel by raising your fuel pressure, or a regular wet kit.

The easiest kit to install would be a Zex Dry or a NOS 2nd generation dry kit.

These kits Tee off the main nitrous line and supply nitrous pressure to your FPR reference port. The FPR port now sees 'boost' coming from the nitrous pressure and adds fuel pressure at 1:1. This added fuel pressure translates to added fuel to match the n2o.

It works well up to a 65 shot.
