mines manual, so i couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to drive it at 12 psi and time it,,lol.. that would be rediculous biggrin.gif with the tourqe steer you almost have to have both hands on the wheel.

My old car was like that. You didn't want to let go of that wheel for nothing. It was actually kind of scary sometimes. Especially on patches of gravel and stuff like that. It would spin, and with out LSD, one wheel would catch and just throw you. I used my left at about the 2 o'clock position, and then locked my arm across the wheel with my elbow at about the 8 o'clock. Oh, this car didn't have powersteering either. I'm glad the Celica has it.

is that with a 3sgte? what other mods do you have?

also, yes, lagos put a devilsown water/methanol injection kit on his 3sgte, and presure2 put the same water/methanol injection kit on his 5sfte. They both seemed to like it, and I think lagos said his added like 18 WHP, so it can't be too bad.

na mine is the 2l GT have listed all me mods and pic in my newbie thred :0
just ran some times tonight with a friend in the car

me - 180lbs
cousin - 170lbs
subs in the trunk
tires
clutch & flywheel
head

on flat land ran a 7.26 fastest with him timing, spun in 1st a bit and into 2nd

up hill was somewhere around 9.8~ times varied too much

and slight down hill (on ramp) was about 4 haha

i noticed the most gain from changin the head - still on stock intake n exhaust and after puttin that i noticed alot more power/torque ill have to time some 60-100 runs

you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!(2:27:32 AM) edit: please f*cking work, f*ck, sh*t, piss(2:28:08 AM) edit: that did the trick
im gonna head to the track in a few weeks when it opens, when i go ill get my slip and scan it. see what a mildly tuned GT with no real weight adders to it will run.
Just under 5 secs 0-60

60-80 takes a little longer due to the 4WD taking alot of the power,

80-100+ in no time at all, the turbo is at its optimum at this speed and it just flies
Well here is a vid I made a couple days ago. 94 Celica ST with intake and exhaust at sea level. I think its somewhere around 9.2-9.5.

maybe if you dumped the clutch at like 2500 instead of 4000 you might not spin the tires so much and might get a better time...

If I launch at 2500 it will just bog. It didn't really spin for too long it had a lot of wheel hop. It actually still bogged down when I launched it.

I call BS on Jason and his 7.26 time on a non-boosted ST. No way a non-boosted ST can get to 60 faster than my Celica. I'll see what I can do about getting a video of a 0-60 time in a GT.

He must be looking at km/hour..... rolleyes.gif
Update here. I'm rebuilding my motor right now, and Miro has his motor freshly rebuild too. So as soon as I get mine put together and get a few miles on it, we'll test them out. Should give us a pretty good look at how these cars perform. We couldn't test them earlier because I had a valve sticking, so I only had decent compression on 3 cylinders. This is kind of exciting. My car won't be together until next Monday, and I'm not sure how long after that that I will feel comfertable with reving it too much.

I think you are supposed to break a new motor in for like 1500 miles. I think it's the same thing with a rebuilt.

hehe I can't wait for that biggrin.gif but wouldn't your 40-100 time be less if you shifted a little higher. you were shifting at like 5K rpms.
