expanding the web site? - 6G Celicas Forums

I thought it would be a good idea if this web site was expanded to include other gens. You could have an extra forum covering the 7gc's and the other gens. This web site is so much better than those other ones that cover the other gens.

well that would kinda be contradicting the name..lol
there are tons of all gen celica sites.
IMO ours is better because its gen specific.

Agreed. CT is there for the other gens. In addition theres a serious drop off before 5th gen.

agreed.... theres no 6 gen resource like this and i wouldn't want to 'dilute' the community.

agreed.. its easier to relate with everyone when they have the same generation :-)

the website is better because we stick to one gen and we know what we are talking about with that gen... you bring in other gens and things just complicated.. Not trying to be a downer just thought it'd be better to stay with one gen.

If coomer had the time and people to moderate a forum I think he would do an awesome job of setting up an all generation celica site. I wouldnt want it to be on the same site as this though. I like the smaller community feel we have. With the standards that coomer has for running this forum such as no drama, not anything goes and more good factful information than just useless comments I think he'd run a great all gen site.

isn't CelicaTech that way...

Smaller more precise information about a certain model > many information about different types..

I like this place because its precise and to the point.. even if the suspension section needs some helping with more info.

celitech, celispeed...all celicas of different gens, but you look on thouse sites and theres maybe 1 or 2 6gcs on it. I say we just keep it as gen specific. Like if people with other gens wanna join, let em, but i dont think we are gonna be puttin up 2 many posts about tech and stuff on other gens.

the whole charm of this site is that its 6th gen specific. if you want to hang with other gen celicas go to celicatech.com, alltrac.net, newcelica.org...etc...

yeah keep it 6 gen , if you start adding different gens all you will get is this gen is better than that gen ect,

we already have the best latest gen so why would we want others lol

you could always just change the acronym.. 6gen celica.. to 6gen camry.. corolla... corvette? just name the cars.. that start with C and have had 6generations lol..

6gc home of the gen 6 civics!.. yea that sounds cool.. hahaha

yeah this site is the best because it's specific to only our cars. beside im in some celica groups on myspace and most people seem to have 7th gens, so the site would become overloaded with 7th gens kindasad.gif. Dont want that. lol

Yeah I can hardly stand my 7th Gen friends LOL. Seriously have you guys been over to newcelica.org lately? I don't want those guys hanging around here with their GTS rules all BS. Half of them hate on the S series motors due to their amazing lack of knowledge. rolleyes.gif
