Yes, and next year I will be doing just that laugh.gif Mind you petrol is less of an issue for me now I have moved as the car is just a weekend toy now wink.gif
I only do 40miles a day but still with a heavy foot (which I have!) I might struggle!

That's still 2 gallons with a careful drive in a GT4 mate.

Don't know about the heavy foot as the only time I have seen you driving that car was on the way back from JapFest when you were holding up little old ladies recovering from the show laugh.gif
cheers bud.

brakes were sticking so didn't want to go too fast as they were getting hot!!
wtf does Skint mean?

I figure thats a term from the other side of the pond?

let's get this straight,

you posted on a 6th gen site if people would buy the best 6th gen ever made ?

is like asking in a Nissan forum if they would buy a Skyline. laugh.gif

if I have the money and don't NEED it for something else more important ( school, health, debt ) yes I'd buy it in a heart bit.

"Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic. Butrevolutionariesbuilt the Celica!"- Me
I probably would, if I had a garage to put my cars in. My 6gc has taken over the driveway from my parents car, Lol...
Yes.

just make sure you got a plan. cuz if you don't have anymore money for gas, then the car will become a piece of furniture.

Screw food - eat boost. And as someone else said just be glad that money is the only thing stopping you.
Buy a 4, you know you want to wink.gif
Had mine a little over 2 years now, spent at least £10,000 on it and it eats £100 of fuel per week ($200) and wouldnt part with it for the world biggrin.gif
They arent the best cars for people on a budget but the rush is awesome!

You're only laughing cause you think I'm joking. LOL
I've got both so am in the perfect situation to advise you...............go for it!! When I first got the GT I thought it was ok, but the GT4 is just on another level mate! The GT will seem snail-paced compared to a 4. I've just recently got my GT back on the road, and when you put your foot down nothing happens compared to in the st205.

if they came to the U.S. i'd have one by now. frown.gif
Being 24 and knowing how life works a little more than when I was younger..I would say no, specially if its going to "skint" you badly.

But...you decide... RAISON ou PASSION ?

i can assure you that the majority of the population will tell you to spring for it, but i'll try to be impartial.

your current celica is pretty ace, about the only thing better would be a 4.

if you think you would spend as much time or more thinking about how much it's costing you as you would enjoying it, it's probably not the right time. i skipped out on a sweet deal for an srt-4 when i found out how much insurance was going to cost. it wasn't worth that much to me.

i've never driven a gt-4, but i hope to someday, and i hope it exceeds my expectations. they're beautiful cars, and seeing your skill for making the one you have so unique, i wager you'd could make a 4 even more beautiful before long.

if things go pear shaped you can always sell it!

do you know who i am, mr. worley?
Id have to say no. At the end of the day its just a car, and once you own one youll find yourself needing to mod it which means more money. In my opinion is not worth it just use the money to have a good quality of life. The novelty wears off pretty quickly- and gt4's will only become cheeper smile.gif

thanks for that mate. gee i think i'm gonna cry!! lol.

As mentioned earlier I can always sell it if I end up too poor.

My loan for this one finishes this month so its only fair to start a new one haha.
Will keep an eye out for a good gt4 and let you all know how it goes.

Off to look at 3 GT4's this afternoon!!!

haha, don't you think you've bought enough cars lately mate?

Nah after your fiasco with that white one then I'm gonna stick to ones already imported.

Did you get it sorted out? Was it really 66000?
Hi, hows it going.

A more expensive option but Andy is selling his WRC replica - awesome car, standard engine wise but otherwise a full replica of Juha Kankkunens rally car from it's debut rally - pure Celica porn - he want £8k for it though but to be fair it has cost him nearly £10k to get it into this state.

yeah have seen it on ccuk and gt4oc matey.

looks good but not a big sticker fan tbh.

thanks anyway though.
To be honest GT-4 Was meant to be rally driven meaning that you should drive the living hell out of it. Buying it for non sport situations is a plus but could be done without it.

If you do buy the car I would recommend investing into making it more durable and cpecifically concentrate on handling and suspension.

Then go out back and drive 140km per hour over bumps, over pools of water, sand, dirt, jump off small hills just to see how far you can fly before killing youe suspension.. you know the usual he he
