First post - so a baptism of fire i guess.

I'm in Ireland and have a jap import 98 beams ss3, and im having lots of problems finding replacement CV joints - needed for both wheels - i counted 25 splines inner 26 outer - is this correct??? (its not uncommon for importers to bastardise cars) and can someone point me in the direction of website where i can get these or can i get a donor from another car etc etc

You may want to look into getting your cv joints rebuilt. In the US, there are shops that do this, I would assume that there is something similar over there. You remove the axles yourself and take them to get rebuilt. Otherwise, you would likely have to get axles shipped from Japan which would probably be very expensive.
