looking to get some rims but not sure what size to get. if you could help me make the decision that would be great. if you can post a pic of your car with the size of rims you have on it that would be very helpful. thanks guys
Call me a traitor! See if I care. ;)
Would it be on a stock Celica? Kitted? Lowered?
I prefer the look of the 16s on a Celica w/o a bodykit. Throw some 205/50s and a set of lowererings springs and your good to go!

you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!(2:27:32 AM) edit: please f*cking work, f*ck, sh*t, piss(2:28:08 AM) edit: that did the trick
here are the reasons i chose 16's.
-personal preference, i like meaty tires. im just waiting for mine to go bald so i can get some 225-50's
-better rim protection (try hitting a pothole with 215-35-18)
-better ride
-cheaper wheels/tires
-brakes fill the wheel better
-celicas are small so 16" fits it perfect. now if it were the size of a mustang...
17's are ok. 18's are too big for the celica in my opinion unless you like the look, but i dont like the look of very low-pro tires.
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
for a daily driver in most citys, to large of a rim will give you tire issues, with potholes.
even the 17's with 205/40's are sketchy on potholes.
i prefer the 17's with a larger size tire, like a 215/45, or 225/45.
