So I stayed at motel 6 this weekend. When i got up in the morning to leave I noticed the car next to me had been broken into. So im wondering what made them choose a Kia Rio over my car. They woulda found more in my car. I had my digital camera, MP3 player, clothes, etc.

Im so lucky they didnt go for my car though. PHEW! such a close call.

that sounds oddly familar. just the other day, me and my girfriend get out of the movie theater and find two cars with smashed windows. luckily mine was left untouched. im guessing it was either someone who had a grudge with the owners of the cars, or maybe my dark tints didnt let him see anything valuable in my car or figured mine had an alarm. either way, i felt lucky.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Is your alarm visible? i.e. flashing LED etc? Maybe they saw that in your car, and none in the Kia...

Was it your dads car you had @ the motel? (if you were down in the portland area, not sure where you were lol) I just figured it happened while you were down here for the car show...& didnt come say hi to me! awww

I believe its usually opportunity and ease.. if yours is locked, visible alarm, tinted windows.. then you have unlocked, reg windows, valuables laying around... they go for the easiest
