will the nightshade stuff work on the headlights? if so - what kind of prep would i need 2 do and can someone give me a brand of acrylic clearcoat i can order?
I think I'm with you goferris, I ordered a can of niteshades, I'll see if that will do everything. Should look hawt.

If you use Folia Tec tail light spray it's a one coat application & they have various colors.
Just took my tinted tails off as bought some later spec JDM's.
I have something i use for headlights but it's not a spray so doesn't chip etc & will also allow you to colour match to your car.

How do you get on at MOT time with tinted headlights? And does it make them any dimmer - my headlights are like candles even with PIAA bulbs

Is it possible to use window tint directly on the tail light?
i wouldnt use window tint. just use the VHT Nightshade and tint it then put acrylic clear coat and youll be set my friend
I did my fronts, think they turned out pretty well. Used three coats of VHT, turned out nice and dark but when they are on 100% visible.
I've been trying to get my freakin tails and third brake light out to get them done... can somebody please tell me how to get that third brake? I can't get the plastic panel off the hatch to save my life.
