so i was cruising this morning on the highway on my way to look at some new rims and all of a sudden this newer model mitsu lancer pulled next to me. we where already doing 80 and then he punched it then so did i i was pulling from slowly and i want to say i got 2 car lengths ahead of him after 115 mph.. i was a lil disapointed that i didnt pull more i mean i have a few mods done and i have 152xxx miles on my car and that lancer was like an 03" 04" and those cars have like 120 hp. Am i just overreacting or does that sound right ?<-----------

Dude, those new lancers (not the evo) suck. But atleast you beat him.

hey, at least you won! there's not much that a non-engine swapped or non-turboed GT celica can beat, so congrats! I just lost to a 90-93 integra that supposedly only had exhaust and suspension mods... but my friend says he know the guy and says it's a GSR with all mugen performance parts, but the guy who owns the car denied it. I only lost by like a car length though (aprox. 1/4 mile, and we started from a stop.) so only a couple more mods and I could probably take him. lol

how is it that well doesnt sound like alot but i can beat a v6 mustang with no trouble in the highway but barley pull on the lancer guess i need to rebuild my engine!!!!!any ideas anyone?

V6 mustangs are like the special olympics of mustanges....u want a mustang you buy a V8, don't be a pussy. I've heard our cars and 1.8l vw's beating V6 stangs so...ur one of many
