i changed my bulbs today too, but noprobs. u might wanna checkur fuses.
i did, and i dont see where any of them are blown, however when i turn my lights on, my radio lights go out completely, so im not really sure what the deal is with that, but i think its linked to my gauge problem.

ok guys, if you ever change your bulbs and wonder why they dont work, your dimmer has to be plugged up or else they dont work lmao!

yeah you can but if you want them really bright you should probably go with an led set up like in the link i provided. basically the stock green ones have a condom looking thing on it that makes it look green. i think yours looks good mike but i am thinking the leds would rock my world.

those look exactly like my gauges...that dimmer gave you a little scare ehh. btw you might want to hit up the gas station biggrin.gif

The above place specializes in LDS the ones pictured can be replaced for the AC controls. Not the lights per se, but the LEDS that shine in green for each button and the amber. They carry a whole selection of LEDS.

hahaha, yeah i got gas, but i think the LEDs are brighter, but this was all they had, and i think it looks really good at night, this was right around sunset so it wasnt too dark and you cant see the gauges too well, but ill take some more pics at night and let you guys see them. smile.gif

i did this, i wanted white, and i got it but i had to use blue bulbs...wierd i kno but thats what happened. i changes the lights in my old stereo, my newest one i havent tried yet, cost too much.
have you changed them in the stock cd player yet? i really want to change them all to match my red but i dont want to ruin that seeing as the cd player i just got was DOA and i now have to return it frown.gif

my cardomain
i havent, i got the car with an aftermarket, im sure i could if i had a little time to look at one. sorry
its cool, im not a retard when it comes to electronics so i guess ill give it a go, worst case scenario is the radio dies on me, ill just go a week without one until i get my other one back

Hey, were these also inverted or regular bulbs?

Oh yeah, one more thing. Did they have that green condom on them? I am kind of pissed, I messed up on my climate control a bit, and discovered I could have just changed the condom thingies to red, and just pulled off the green ones. Anyhow, how many lights behind the gauge?

So you can go reverse glow and have solid red lighting? I was about to ask that but was afraid to look dumb. Oh well, I guess it is no secret now. LOL Lemme know ya? In here or PM me. If anyone knows off the top of their head. Is there a detail on how to install reverse glow (I am sure there is, nevermind)? I figure there is, but kind of in the middle of something right now. Thanks.

im confused by your posts random, but there are 3 bulbs, they are number 194 and advanced auto has them, i know then have red and blue at least and im sure they have other colors, as well. as far as reverse glow gauges that glow red, i havent seen them, i have only seen green and blue reverse glows

its easier and cheaper to get the bulbs, the bulbs are 2 for $1.94 at advanced auto and they have them in blue red and green.

call me ghetto but i just cut up a soda bottle cap (dr pepper i think) to fit in there and they worked like a charm. once i change my bulbs to leds i am probably going to change them to blue though. cheap and easy biggrin.gif
