sorry for the slow response...im actually messing with a 3sge, building it for rally use, with a redline of me thinks, 8.5k...anywho, since there is very little info on the net, or even amongst other engine builders with the 3sge, i am trying to compare with the b16's/18's and such of honda, with what they use to have a somewhat streetable "stroked"engine...so what do yall think? oh and thanks for the links

Honda bottom-ends are pretty over built though... so you gotta be more specific. The main thing with stroked Honda motors, namely the B series, is the addition of the crank girdle (present on the more performance oriented VTEC B series and missing on the non-VTEC ones used for stroking). Along with that, oil pressure. For a Toyota, or any engine for that matter, the same considerations are taken into account. Again... it all depends on what you're trying to ask.

well i want to know what duration cams would best be used with a 2.2 litre engine with a compression of 12.1cr or higher? i want to use a 284/272 como, but would like to research alittle more before i just "use" a set of cams that may or may not, be benficial to the engine.
